Miley’s been in my life for most of it and being without her now is going to be so strange. Everyone who’s ever met us has also met Miley. Miley used to wait in the pickup area with my parents after school when I was a kid, getting fussed over and petted by all the other kids and their parents. Miley was always waiting for the bus when I came home in middle school and high school and she knew exactly when it was coming, always waiting by the door. She’s been in the background of almost every photo (when she wasn’t the star, that is) She’s also been our loyal travelling companion. Miley has been all over New Brunswick and PEI, she’s been to Nova Scotia, Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York. She was going to add Newfoundland to her list of locations but unfortunately didn’t make it long enough for that. She spent her last days in her favourite place, on the beach in PEI. How do you even begin to sum up almost 18 years together? You really can’t, but here are some of the highlights of our almost 18 years with our girl. We will love you and miss you forever, Miley 🐾❤️
