Maudie was a little beagle mix that came to me in 2017 as a 'foster' - less than 12 hours in, I knew she was mine. I was blessed to have her in my life for just shy of three years, definitely not long enough but cancer took her away from me way too soon. She was the sweetest little girl and she came to me at a time when I don't know if she needed me more or if I needed her more - either way, it was a match made in heaven. She helped me through a very low time in my life and when her time came to leave me, I was not ready to say good bye, I was broken but I was also very thankful for the time we had together. She taught me many lessons in her little short life, none of which I will ever forget. She was unique and certainly meant for me. She was and always and forever will be, My Maudie.
